We put a shout of out for the residents of our Cornfield Cliffe housing project on a Darwen Facebook group and we had footballs delivered within the hour!
The Coronavirus outbreak has affected us hard – both in terms of donations and fundraising. However, we are lucky to have such a kind and caring community who have rallied round to help us during this time of need.
As a local charity which provides support to vulnerable young people who are likely to be in the ‘at risk’ groups from the Covid-19 coronavirus, our priority is to safeguard the health and wellbeing of young people in our local community and that of our staff and volunteers. As such, in line with official guidance, we are now moving to the next stage of our response plan.
Prestige Beds are helping those at Nightsafe sleep easier at night – by donating £10 from every Alma mattress sold to the charity.

Who would have though a night sleeping at St Silas Church, in the wind and the rain, would help to raise an incredible £29,000 for Nightsafe!
The funeral of Edna Arnold, the former Tory councillor who founded Blackburn’s Nightsafe refuge for the homeless, has taken place at the town’s Cathedral.
From this day forward, CRE8 Project & Building Consultancy (Chartered Building Surveyors) shall be supporting our local Blackburn based charity Nightsafe.
It is with deep regret that we have heard of the sudden passing of our Founder and Life President Edna Arnold.
