We put a shout of out for the residents of our Cornfield Cliffe housing project on a Darwen Facebook group and we had footballs delivered within the hour!

A special shout out to Scott Hansekowitsch who donated a new football to the young people in record time, and Tina Shipperbottom who delivered some balls too.

We’re not sure what the final score was, but we know that everyone enjoyed themselves and say thank you for your very kind donations. Every little thing like this makes such a huge difference to our young people.

Without the help of our supporters, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.

Thank you to all our #NightsafeHeroes.

Anchor Avenue – Making A House A Home

April 21st, 2022|

Nightsafe needs your help – and we need it NOW! We are calling on businesses and individuals to transform a shell of a property into a bright modern home for five young people who have faced homelessness In a DIY SOS-style operation we are appealing for businesses and retailers to donate goods and furniture, trades and volunteers to offer their time; and monetary donations to help fund and furnish the project. The house in Anchor Avenue, Darwen, was bought by a generous supporter but is in dire need of renovation.

There is always a way that you can help us at Nightsafe.
