Volunteers week is special for us at Nightsafe. We have been supporting young homeless people for over 30 years and I’m reminded that people say ‘Time’ is the greatest gift you can give and Time is indeed what our Volunteers gift to us.
Over the years we have had hundreds of volunteers donate thousands of hours , the difference they make is unquantifiable. How do you measure someone taking the time to sit with someone and just chat when that chat can be life changing but that’s what happens here at Nightsafe.
Volunteers often live locally and want to give something back to their community, sometimes they come to us from all over the World. One thing’s for certain they give of themselves to make the World a better place for our young people and for that we at Nightsafe will be eternally grateful.
Our Trustees volunteer in so many ways bringing expertise , advice and guidance to Nightsafe, they are most definitely the unsung heroes , beavering away behind the scenes to keep Nightsafe …….. safe.
Time is definitely the greatest gift our Volunteers give and it’s often said that there’s only one thing more precious than Time and that’s who we spend it on , I’m so very glad our Volunteers have chosen to spend it at Nightsafe.
Happy Volunteers Week to all those past, present and yet to come – without our Volunteers we would be nothing.

Without the help of our supporters, we wouldn’t be able to do what we do.
Thank you to all our #NightsafeHeroes.
