About Ronset
Ronset is a family run digital printing firm established by Ronald Farnworth in Blackburn, Lancashire, in 1962.
Initially specialising in hot metal typesetting, using the then modern technology of monotype setters, they have continually developed over the years to keep up-to-date with developments in phototypesetting, digital typesetting and artwork.
Today Ronset is one of the leading printing specialists in the Blackburn area and their digital printing capability is among the most comprehensive in the North West of England.
They specialise in large format printing and digital printing, and run multiple industry leading presses, producing excellent flexibility in their print lead times.
How and Why Ronset Support Nightsafe
A number of years ago, the company were invited to meet CEO Jan Larkin and since then they have provided free printing services – including signage for the day centre, night shelter, housing projects, labels for collection tins and more!
Chris Durham, Commercial Director at Ronset, said: “Our contribution started about four years ago when I took a visit to the space in Blackburn. I was immediately impressed with the work Nightsafe do. It’s a fantastic enterprise and there isn’t another charity like it.
The work they do for young people is fantastic. We’re happy to be involved in it.
To all the businesses in the area, please go and visit. Go and see the place. Meet the people. Speak to the young people. I’m sure you’ll want to be involved once you’ve met everybody. They do such a great job.
