How and Why Mill Hill Juniors Football Club Support Nightsafe
Nightsafe has been selected as Mill Hill Junior’s charity of the year and will benefit from fundraising events throughout the year.
Speaking about Nightsafe, Scott Hansekowitsch, Committee Member and Coach at Mill Hill Juniors Football Club,
said: “A friend of mine is very involved and I’ve helped him and the charity from time to time and that’s how I heard about the charity. A few of the committee members have also been involved in the BBC Children in Need Big Build at St Silas in 2019.
“The biggest thing for us was the realisation that a child could leave us at 16 and quite easily become one of the young people requiring the support of Nightsafe.”
The club has a partnership with a company called Little Lions where children can start their footballing journey from the age of 3, before joining Mill Hill Juniors at 6 until the age of 16.
Scott added: “With the Nightsafe partnership, we’re supporting children from ages 3 to 25, albeit in different ways.”
