Dunscar Farm is a family-run business, which stems from four generations in dairy farming.

The family has been producing and delivering milk in Great Harwood and Rishton since the early 1930’s from horse and cart straight through to the modern milk float. The milk is produced and bottled in Great Harwood, and still delivered by a local milkman in recycled glass bottles.

Around 8 years ago, the farm contacted Nightsafe to see if the young people they support would benefit from donations of milk.
Each week they done around ten 2litre bottles of milk, and usually two trays of eggs as well from their ‘egg man’, contributing to the health and welfare of hundreds of young people.

John said: “I donate milk to the Nightsafe because I believe in the cause. It’s the right thing to do. I feel proud to be supporting Nightsafe. The charity does a fantastic job.
People should come in and see it for themselves and see how they can help.”
