Carley's Story
Carley only ever wanted to be loved.
Her mum was more interested in taking drugs and her dad now had a new family to care for.
Carley came to Nightsafe Night Shelter aged 16. She was being taken to parties, given drink and drugs so that she could be passed around for sex.
The Exploitation Team found her and brought her to Nightsafe.
Carley moved into the Witton Project and stayed with us for 18 months.
There were some difficult times as she was still very vulnerable to exploitation but we worked with her to build her self-esteem.
Carley is now 19, lives with a steady boyfriend, has had a job for over 6 months and looks really well.
She wants to go to college in September then on to University. Her aim is to be a social worker and help people not go through what she did.
