The Coronavirus outbreak has affected us hard – both in terms of donations and fundraising. However, we are lucky to have such a kind and caring community who have rallied round to help us during this time of need.
We would like to say a huge thank you to BwD Age UK and The The Wilpshire Clinic for their donations of Personal Protective Equipment. Wilpshire Clinic delivered gloves, aprons and hand sanitisers.
Without these kinds of items we can't open, so thank you from us and our young people for being kind enough to donate them to us in these difficult times.
Westholme School donated all of their fresh fruit and vegetables from their final delivery to Nightsafe to help us through these difficult times. The delivery allowed us to keep providing healthy and nutritious meals for our vulnerable young people.
We would also like to thank all those who answered our shout out for footballs and delivered within an hour. Your donations make such a difference to our young people who can now enjoy outdoor time even more.
We even received a kind donation of a cross trainer after an appeal on Facebook for an exercise bike or bench in the lead up to lockdown.
Without the help of our supporters, we wouldn't be able to do what we do.
Thank you to all our #NightsafeHeroes.
