Blackburn Chemicals, a family run business founded by George Lamb, have made another generous donation to Nightsafe to ensure they can continue their vital services supporting homeless young people.
Mr Lamb said ““I’m very pleased the business I founded can support such an amazing charity. I hope we will be able to do so for many years in the future”
Nightsafe is one of a small number of charities dedicated to supporting young people aged 16-24 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. During the pandemic they have dealt with many challenges, including having to adapt their day centre and emergency night shelter provisions.
Jack Lamb said “Nightsafe is a wonderful charity carrying out excellent work within the Blackburn and Darwen area supporting vulnerable young people. After a very tough year for the local community, Blackburn Chemicals is proud to continue our support to Nightsafe and all their efforts”
CEO Jan Larkin said “Nightsafe are very grateful to Mr Lamb and Blackburn Chemicals for their continued support. This incredibly kind donation directly supports the work we do with vulnerable young people across Blackburn with Darwen”
